- my 1st draft of thesis has been reviewed by supervisor, now have to ammend and hand up 2nd draft within a week

- done editing a farewell for a friend of mine, i would give it marks of 5/10, a compensionate marks for finishing in a day... it was really sucks... have to improve my vid editing skill

- first time ever had farewell for friend in KLIA =)

- busy busy... coop report is next.

Ah Ping Bah Kut Teh, SS14

Today I was planned to have my dinner at Asia Cafe, but then I couldn't find a parking, so ended up went to SS14 to hunt for my dinner. Then I passed by this bak kut teh restaurant and I found it not bad from appearance, so I decided to give it a try. I've ordered a single portion of mixed bak kut teh, it was served in a small claypot. With an iced chinese tea, the meal cost me RM9.40.

When I came back from work, cant access to internet, my mood straight away jumping down from 28th floor, felt very dulan, very frustrated, over silly unaccessable internet.... straight away went for nap...

Woke at 11pm, internet was online.. but still very moody, no mood to do thesis, body itchy here and there... 12pm, I took a shower and I'm going to sleeping now, planned to wake at 3am to my thesis...

okie, nite all.....

p/s: im still f*ckin' moody, maybe because of the fckin' dog that my housemate temporary taken care of. I HATE DOGS! Fckin' smelly!!! *vomit*

A noob left me a note

Yesterday, when I opened my car hood to check my car engine, I found this note slipped at the edge of the windscreen. I have no idea when did the note was left on my car, and was it my english level too low to understand the message. I have totally no idea what was the writer trying to tell me, anyone care to translate for me?

By the way, I parked my car nicely at the roadside just right across of my own house. There is no way that my car will block any traffic, or other house.

The 2nd day of COOP (intern), been feeling great for whole day, but just the moment before finish work, suddenly feel very uncomfortable. A moment later, I felt my body temperature was rising, headache, could feel heat and the signs of getting sick soon. After finished work, I realised some red tiny spots were appearing on my both arms. Crap!

I checked my body temperature with termometer once I've got home. Woah! My body temperature was high at 38.5'C. I told myself have to sleep earlier tonight, but then when I checked at night later, found that the temperature had raised to 39.0'C. "Wow! This no joke, something was wrong, must see doctor!", told myself. Then, I went out to find a clinic, but the one opposite Carrefour was closed! Shit. I'm dead. So, I had no choice but to buy a panadol pills from the nearby minimarket instead. Got home, my body temperature was raised again to 39.2'C and it just didn't drop. My mom and friend ask me to go hospital to see doctor incase anything happens. Sigh, no choice and had to drive out myself again to the nearest Sime Darby Medical Centre (perviously known as Subang Jaya Medical Centre).

On my way to hospital, I saw another clinic was still open. Phew, so lucky! After the examined by doctor, the doctor diagnosed that I was having typoid fever, instead of H1N1 flu or dengue. Guys, no worries to isolate me, thank you. Doctor gave me two days MC (but I only MCed for 1 day, silly me), asked me to rest more and drink more water.

These medicines costed me RM50, sigh...

August, the month of independence, but not mine yet, damn it. I'm doing my intern job at Shah Alam now, and to save time (basically save time to sleep more), I have moved to Subang Jaya SS17. Section SS17 actually is a quite boring housing area, but luckily the opposing area SS15 turned out a super happening place, shined with restaurant, food courts, cafes, fast foods...... I'll dig em' out later once I got time.

Blah blah blah... I'm lazy to write long grandma story, have to cut it short. Now proceed to visit my room. I'm actually have a theme for my room, it is called "simple & easy". Everything lays on the floor so it will be easy and convenience for me to look for something, LOL.....

Remote support in easy way

First, both parties must download this free software called TeamViewer at HERE.
After download, extract the files.
Both parties now run the TeamViewer.exe.

Then, the person who encountered computer problems can now tell the temporary ID and password to the Helper.

For the Helper, under "CREATE SESSION", select "remote support" and key in the ID given. Press 'connect to partner' button. And enter the password given when prompted.

When the connection is established, a window will pop up which allowed the Helper to view the person desktop screen, and also granted keyboard and mouse control permission to solve computer problems.

Note: you can simply cut the connection anytime if found the Helper doing irrelevant stuff to your computer. =)

DNA Extraction

Steps of DNA extraction:
01)Rinse mouth with clean water, then gargle with 10mL saline for 3 mins.
02)Transfer the saline with buccal cells into 15mL falcon tube.
03)Centrifuge at 4000rpm, 5 mins, 37'C.
04)Remove supernatant till last drop.
05)Add in 500uL PBS solution and transfer to a 1.5mL microcentrifuge tube.
06)Centrifuge at 5000rpm, 1 min.
07)Remove supernatant carefully.
08)Add in 300uL Nuclei Lysis Buffer, pipette few times to lyse the bucaal cells.
09)Add in 1.5uL RNAse, and inverse the tube gently few times.
10)Incubate at 37'C for 15 mins.
11)Cool to room temperature.
12)Add in 100uL of Protein Precipitate Solution, and vortex vigorously for 20 secs.
13)Centrifuge at 13000rpm, 5 mins.
14)Transfer the supernatant by using a pipette, into a new 1.5mL microcentrifuge tube contained 300uL of Isopropanol.
15)Inverse the tube gently for 3-5 minutes, until the white mass (DNA pellet) is precipitated enough.
16)Centrifuge at 13000rpm, 5 mins.
17)Remove supernatant, and add in 500uL of 70% Absolute Etanol.
18)Inverse gently for few times to wash the DNA pellet.
19)Centrifuge at 13000rpm, 10 mins.
20)Remove the supernatant and air-dry for 10-15 mins.
21)Add in 50uL DNA rehydration buffer and keep in 4'C.

WAHHAHA...... i rewrote the steps without looking at the protocol...

Final year project
Just settled my final year project preparation. I have thress personal pipettes, cool huh~... The lab cabinet I'm using now actually is belong to a senior, but according to my supervisor and the lab manager, the senior has gave up his project and did not shown up for lab work for quite a long time. He already failed his project B once, but still showing this kind of attitude, what a shame for him as a University student. Currently, I'm excited on my final year project.

Volleyball
Lately, my performance in volleyball is really bad, I did not touch vb since the MAPCU volleyball competition. Sigh, need to train more to brush up my vb skill.

Firstly, my condo electric got cut because didn't pay the bills, spent a day and a night without electric, what a hard time.....

Secondly, I found a way to reflash my N70 to chinese supported firmware, but the loudspeaker so happenly spoilt at the same time.. WTF... GRRRR

Thirdly, not enough money....yet I have so much debts to pay.... ARGH!!!!!!!!

MAPCU-UNMC Volleyball Tournament 2008

15 Nov 2008, UCSI male and female volleyball teams were participating the MAPCU-Nottingham Volleyball Tournament 2008. The University of Nottingham campus is so cool, what a nice study environmnent. However, the location is abit sankala, so far away from the town.

Well, morning and noon we played under hot sun, afternoon we played in the rain... end up all guys got sunburn.

Male and female team both got 2nd runner-up. Kinda sad, actually we can do better than that. We need to train more, more, more and more!!!!!!!!!!

We did a diving slide together on the court at the moment when we have won the 3rd/4th placing match... XD.. picture was not taken.. camera was left in my bag.

I'm so glad that finally UCSI male volleyball has earned the 1st piece of medal in volleyball competition. I know we can do better in the future!

How to enable Symbian S60 to display chinese words

If your symbian phone (S60) cant read chinese words, here's a trick to enable your S60 phone to read it, taking my N70 as example.

Phone software required:
-Files explorer (eg. FExplorer, SeleQ)

Font file download:
-click here to download

Steps:
1) Download the required rar file, unrar it.
2) Install the 123MMCfonts.sis into phone.
3) Restart phone after finished.
4) IF your phone still unable to read chinese, please proceed below steps
5) Run phone's file explorer and go to [E:\System\]
6) Copy the folder "Fonts".
7) Now go to [C:\System\]
8) Delete the folder "Fonts" in [C:\System], if there is any
9) Paste the copied folder "Fonts" into [C:\System]
10) Restart the phone. Done.

p/s: I do not hold any responsible if anything bad happened to your phone, do it at your own risk. If your dont want to take any risk, go to nearest Nokia Care Center, pay some cash to flash your phone to firmware that suppport Chinese words.

Im abit excited here.. hahah..

Before exam, my finger wound was sctrached by the zip of my bag, luckily no heavy bleeding, just little amount of blood squeezed out. XD..
Even with my finger hurted, I still managed to finish my IEB exam in 90 minutes.. quite easy, huhu~...
When I passed up my papers, my lecturer was shocked, "SO FAST FINISH?!"
I smile to her, and just left the exam hall. XD.. Sibeh Cool..

After exam.. went to pet shop in Giant to buy another goldfish. Ya, to replace the dead one. HAHAHA... this new one looks cuter than the previous dead one..

Even final exam is over, but i still have to work on the final year project presentation slide, the draft slides have to be ready and give to supervisor on this Friday.. Sigh...

Fking Bad Day

Wah lao eh, today really sui dou tip dei ...

The glass aquarium broken when i wanna clean it this afternoon.

And i din notice the glass was broken, eventually, the edge cut my right middle finger. My finger bleeds like hell, fresh blood just non-stop flushing out no matter how hard i press on the wound.. So i raised up my arm, the blood pressure to the finger reduced and eventually blood clot the wound. Phew..

After i have settled my wound, I went down to the pet shop to get a new aquarium for the 2 poor fishes...

And guess what, one of the goldfish died because soaked in the high chlorine pipe water for more than 1 hours... I'm so regret, should have add anti-chlorine to the water...

Well, two days ago which was my birthday, went up to genting with my family. My second time in my lifetime walking into the Genting casino through the front door XD, kinda different feel. Well, when i was a croupier always entered the casino through the backdoor (employee entrance).

I only had less than RM50 cash in my wallet and i dont dare to use my pocket money to gamble, so just watching my parent play. When my mom won, she gave me RM25 chip and ask me go play myself. So, I went to the Tai-sai table (big-small). I know how the trend goes, so i bet according to my experience. So, end of the day, I have won RM150 with only RM25 modal and never lose a single game. You might say all because of newbie luck, well, when come to gambling, I trust the simple maths statistic and my experience instead of betting blindly or following the crowd blindly.

UniKL Volleyball Tournament 2008

Hey to all my blog readers, sorry for not updating my blog since early of August. Well, I was super busy with my assignment, then final exams... phew, luckily it is over now :)

K, last Saturday on 23-24 August 2008, UCSI Volleyball Teams has participated in volleyball competiton in Karnival Sukan Harapan Zon Tengah 2008, hosted by University Kuala Lumpur, Bangi Campus.

In the 23rd Aug morning, we were asked to participate in their athletes parade of Opening ceremony. Heck, I think those organizers have been watching Olympic too much. And the hell part, we were ordered to wear long pants for the parade!!! Can you imagine that wearing black jersey and dark long pants standing under freaking hot sun listening to unlistenable damn-long VIP speeches?!! All were sweating like hell.

The weather was super bad throughout the volleyball tournament, in the morning playing under freaking hot sun, afternoon playing in the rain, WTF!

For the result, the UCSI male volleyball team only win 1 game out of 3 games in qualifying stage, so did not make it into quaterfinal. Kinda sad, our male team standard is far lower than other university team :(. However, congratulation to our female volleyball team, the champion of female volleyball competition!!! Not to forget that their final match were playing under heavy rain. It is not easy to play volleyball in the rain, the wet volleyball court is very slippery, each step and jump must take super caution.

Diablo III

Recently I have downloaded the Diablo II and replay it again, and same as last time, got addicted to it, playing non stop...

Two days ago, when i was checking Lowyat.net forum, under game section I saw this attractive title, saying that Diablo III is confirmed by Blizzard and it is coming soon!!! Then went to check some teaser and gameplay video at youtube since the official site is overloaded with traffice, nothing much about the teaser video but the gameplay video was amazing, can see how big difference compared to Diablo II.

By the way, Memp is dead, Diablo is dead, even Baal is dead... wonder how Blizzard continue the story line... Huhu... im excited!! XD

Volleyball Training

It have been long dormant period since the last post, cant help it, I have nothing to write about, since there is some time while waiting my hair to dry before going to bed. Okay, let's write about my volleyball training today.

Today's volleyball training, I can say it was one of the best training session. Why? Because finally I can catch the spiking timing and the spiking technique. Due to my weak arm, I always cant spike properly, the ball will either fly up or spiked under the net, dam terrible. So, here come my volleyball mate, Shawn, but I like to address him as ZiRong XD, sweet :) He taught me dont use arm strength to deliver the force, use wrist strength instead. He said that I have height, so no need to use full arm strength, just a good jumping and using a tiny wrist tapping can spike the ball very nice. Indeed, I can spike few nice balls during my turn of spiking drill. Hope that will impress my captain XD...

So, done with my spiking story, now the sad case story. Today, my head, arm, thigh, ass and even my dick got banged with spiked volleyball = =". Damn pain I tell u guy, the worst case was when the ball banged my head, I had an temporary (around half a minutes) of one sided deaf, because the ball bang right onto my right ears. Im glad that my still can listen after the trauma.

Okay, my hair is dry, time to go to bed. Nitez everyone. Sigh, the coming days will be my tough days, rushing few lab reports, few assignments, preparation of midterm exam, blah blah blah... u name it. HeLL~!

OMFG!! Can you see that?! 32.7'C! Ya, no jokes, that's my room temperature now. It is so freaking hot here... argh~~~ I already tried my best to cool myself down, what i have done so far:

The soup is thick enough, meats are so tender, most importantly their rice is not just plain rice, it tastes like the butter rice of the chicken rice. Really Ho-Chak!!! Guys, do try it out, the restaurant is located at kepong, somewhere near the junction of the MRR2 and Kepong highway, quite near to FRIM as well.

Today I just found this awesome music player. Introducing TTplayer (千千静听) ...

The main feature of this music player is it can auto search lyrics from the internet and display it when a song is played, this is so cool!!! I love this player so much, finally I read the lyrics and try to learn to sing a song properly, LOL, i used to mumble those words or sentences that im not so sure XD...

By the way, it can search lyrics for both English and Chinese songs, not so sure about other language songs, you guys can go try it out :)

Cabbage Fried Rice with Big Prawn

Ingredient:

Rice (prefer cold rice)
Egg - 1 enough
Prawn - few

Cabbage

Methods:

Remove the prawn head and shell, and intestine. Chop the cabbage into very small pieces.

Heat the oil. Fry the prawn until it turns red, put in the cabbrage and continue fry.

Make a clear spot middle of the wok and add some oil, just small amount enough.

Put in the egg and stir it with big flame, until it cook.

Add in the rice now and sprinkle some chicken stock powder for seasoning.

Stir fry the rice until it is done, and ready to be served.

Nigerian Gang Fight

This news i was heard from my housemate. On Saturday early morning around 4am, there was a gang fight among the UCSI Nigerian Student, number unclear but should be around more than 30+, location at outside of Goody Foody Restaurant. Two police cars with 4 police officers came to control the situation but useless. One of the police officer gave a shoot into the air to warn them but those Nigerian just ignore those useless police officer.s Unluckily, no one was killed in the fight..... Too bad for the Goody Foody have to bear all the repairation cost.

Argh!!! Ants Attack!!!

Last night, while im reformating my computer, i found out something was crawling out from my new printer. When i take a look closer, it was an ant!! Guess what, it's died another sec *evil grin* Few minutes after, another ant came out again! Argh!! wtf... Then i lift of the top scanner lit, OMFG~~~~~~~~~~~ Bunch of ants partying happily at the hinge of the scanner lit.. i straight away take the Shieldtox and the ants massacre has just started.

When the time I just finished cleaning up the dead ant bodies at the hinge, i found out another another ant pit inside the scanner (below the glass)!!! It was dam frustrating, I already had not enough sleep for past few days, now the fking ants really pissed me like shit.

Then i ripped of the scanner without caring much about will it void the waranty of the printer or not... LOL..... once I detached the glass layer, I spray shieldtox like mad, give them "die gao gao".. hahaha...

Damn, it tooks me 2 hours plus to clean up the bodies and oil's stain on the scanner, reassemble back the parts, adjust alignment.........zzzzzzzz..... really wtf...

How to download Youtube video in easy way?

Hi, do u have any problem in downloading youtube video? most of the ways that ppl often used are through firefox browser, youtube downloader, etc etc. Those ways are very problemsome, because the video need to be re-download if using such ways, this would take up more of your internet bandwidth....

Now i will show u the easiest way to downlaod watched Youtube video, not to say 'download', it's should be called 'save'.

STEPS

1) Watch any Youtube video, wait until it finish loading.

2) go to Internet Option, and Click "select" button under 'Browsing history'.

3) Then in 'Temporary Internet Files and History Settings', click the 'view files' button, as shown in the picture below.

4) Next, a window of Temporary Internet Files will pop out. Click the "size" button to rearrange bigger size file to be ontop of list, usually video files are quite big size, ranging from 2MB to 50MB depends on how long the video u have watched..

5) Next, compare the video code on the file, that matched with the URL of youtube video u have watched just now. After the files have been identified, copy the file and paste it somewhere else in your harddisk.

6) After paste, it would appear name as vid_file[o] without any extension. So, just simply rename it and remember add an extension of ".flv" behind it.

7) You have successfully save the Youtube video file, and can be watch in your computer now :)

8) This technique is quite useful on other websites/video streaming sites that do not allow you to download their songs, images, etc. Just compare the address where the file from :)

TIPs: - Delete Internet Temporary Files first would be easier for you to find the file u want.

My new printer with CISS

Last Sunday, 30 Feb, I went to lowyat just to buy this All-in-one printer (Epson Stylus CX5500 /w CISS) for the sake of printing the goddamn research paper, for MCB presentation....

Initially, i really had alot problems on how to use and maintain this so called "user friendly" printer with only 5 simple operating buttons, but the ink catridge part is so freaking complicated, some more it is already modified with CISS.. zzz.. I should have watch them how they install the CISS on my printer...

now, after tries and error, finally i can understand this printer, at least i know:
1) The paper size used must be exactly the same in the printer property setting, or else it wont print...
2) Have to push the freaking tiny small reset button when the ink indicator shows the ink is "running out".
3) This printer is quite good in term of colour photos printing, however, it is FREAKING NOISY!!! and somehow slower than my previous printer HP F380...

How to upgrade PSP firmware to 3.90m33-3

Hi, now im showing you how to upgrade your PSP firmware to latest 3.90m33-3 custom firmware.. :) please note that this is just a guide, i do not carry any resposibility if any problems happen to your PSP or any legal problems.. Cheers

Materials
- A psp with CFW 3.52 m33 or above (if your PSP is below 3.52, please refer 3.52 upgrade procedure here)
- A PSP usb cable.

Methods
Part 1 - Preparation on PSP
1) Make sure your battery is fully charged or on with power adapter.
2) Totall off your PSP, then turns it on back, now quickly hold the "R" key before the SONY words show up.
3) Recovery menu will shows up, go under 'configuration', check the kernel mode is on "3.52 kernel"
4) Exit recovery menu

Part 2 - Upgrade part
1) Download the 3.90m33 upgrade pack at http://rapidshare.com/files/91532728/390m33.rar
2) Unrar the file, copy the folder named "Upgrade", and paste it into your psp:\\PSP\Game\.
3) Exit USB mode and go to GAME menu.
4) Run the 3.90 upgrade, follow the instruction given ... press X or O whenever they ask u to do so, DO NOT Off the PSP until whole upgrade process is finish, or else u will brick your PSP.
5) Few minutes later, when upgrade process is done and your PSP is now 3.90 m33.
6) go back to USB mode, delete the "Upgrade" foler in psp:\\PSP\Game\

Part 3 - Update part
1) Download the 3.90 m33-3 update file at http://exophase.com/files/psp/390m33_3.rar
2) Unrar and copy the folder named "Upgrade", and paste it into your psp:\\PSP\Game\.
3) Exit USB mode and go to GAME menu.
4) Run the 3.90 m33-3 update, just follow the instruction
5) About less than 1mins, upgrading PSP to 3.90 m33-3 is done :)
